During Jax’ Charity Subathon for the Danish Red Cross, I was asked if I’d donate a business dinner. It turned into a little auction between me, Jax and the chat, and we ended up at DKK 5,000 per person. Andreas, Erik and Martin jumped in and even paid more than we’d agreed. That made DKK 16,000 for the Danish Red Cross.
Then we met up. I’d asked Jax to come along as a surprise and talk about livestreaming, where entertainment is heading and how he works with community in real time. Benjamin from Mad & Kaffe came too and talked about the value of strong customer experiences and how their running club, M&K Running, has become one of the most important parts of the brand.
We sat together for several hours. Sharing war stories, good advice and experience. Three people at very different points on their entrepreneurial journey. What they had in common was a desire to learn, to listen and to invest in something without knowing in advance what it would be.
That’s the kind of evening I hope there’ll be more of.
