I’ve found a formula that works for me: performance times wellbeing is high performance.
For me, that means knowing my strengths and acknowledging my weaknesses at work. And it means putting my wellbeing first, so I don’t burn the candle at both ends.
Five things that work for me: Go for walks of at least 45 minutes several times a week. Remember to reflect. Eat properly. Switch off when you’re off. And remember to take holidays.
I end all my talks with a piece of advice I was once given: Remember to enjoy the journey. The goal isn’t important in itself. What matters is what it gives us.
